Our School

Seaside School is located on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine, Florida. Since 2009, Seaside School has earned the trust of local families seeking early childhood care. Seaside School offers superb early childhood education through fun, clean and safe activities for children 1 to 5 years old. We maintain a low student to teacher ratio, ensuring individual attention and a safe environment. Upon visiting Seaside School, you will find friendly and knowledgeable staff attentively caring to the unique needs of each student. Equally important, you will find our learning environment clean and organized, supporting the social and pre-academic needs of young children. Give your one year old a small, caring and loving experience in our established school. Our teachers are full of smiles and introduce the youngest children in our school to new skills of independence, following daily routines and desirable social interaction. Our older students are nurtured through hands on activities, supportive routines and a fun learning environment. Enroll your four year old in our excellent VPK program, giving your child a strong educational foundation full of love and laughter.

The safety of your children is of utmost importance to us. We focus our efforts on providing a clean, safe and family-friendly environment. Please, feel free to call us to check on your child or stop by during the day. Our entire school is monitored with CCTV cameras and the playground is fenced and protected by child-safe locked gates. We have an impact-absorbent soft turf playground to help the children stay clean and safe from injuries while playing.

We have an open door policy. Parents are always welcome to experience a day at Seaside. You may volunteer to read a story, help with projects or donate items.

All of our teachers meet the minimum requirements of the Department of Children and Families. Most of them have advanced degrees to ensure your child’s learning and growth. Our teachers complete in-service training on an ongoing basis. Most importantly, our teachers are selected to work at Seaside because of their dedication and love for children. We have a low student to teacher ratio, giving our teachers the opportunity to carefully focus on the needs of their students.
